Another vintage digital from...I'm going to guess 1999. Backstage at the MacUserWorld Editors' Choice Awards.
This was just as the tech bubble was beginning to deflate. The magazine still had the scratch to throw a major party, but as you can see, the writers and editors of MacUser had to serve as waiters and bartenders. "We realized that the publisher was going to be paying somebody $75 to work the party," said my editor, as he offered me a mushroom cap and a little napkin. "Why not us?"
