This site has been used for a parish church since the late 17th century, but a “new” building, in the then-current Baroque architectural style, replaced the original structure in 1709. The current Gothic Revival facade, with its iconoc towers, indigenous stylistic elements, and pink stonework, was added between 1880 and 1890.

This capture reveals the top of an important beaux-art building in central Madrid. Built in 1910, this property has served as an anchor to the Gran Via since its inception in the same era. A survivor of the Spanish Civil War, the building has been restored and repaired three times in the last hundred years.
A sale and subsequent restoration in '72 saw the original roof-top statue replaced with a new figure -- this is in fact an entirely different statue, not a restored version of the original.

Edificio costumbrista que forma parte del puerto de la ciudad,antiguamente fuĂ© usado como estaciĂłn del tren que unĂa la ciudad con el pueblo de VĂ©lez-Málaga,llamado popularmente"la cochinilla",debido al hollĂn en exceso que desprendĂa.
El museo ocupa parte de los edificios histĂłricos de la central de Cornellá,se inaugurĂł en 1909,para extraer agua del acuifero del valle bajo del rĂo Llobregat,y abastecer a Barcelona,que en aquel momento se encontraba en plena expansiĂłn.
Este edificio lleva el nombre del arquitecto que lo fundĂł,Josep AmargĂłs i Samaranch.

La Provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina) tiene muchos rincones poco conocidos que desbordan belleza y que parecen trasportarnos a lugares salidos de cuentos de hadas… Este es el caso del Castillo de la Estancia La Candelaria, que fue diseñado y construido en 1894 por el arquitecto francés Alberto Favre en las afueras de la Ciudad de Lobos.
El Castillo funciona actualmente como un estancia turĂstica y hotel de lujo, por lo que uno puede pasar la noche en alguna de sus lujosas habitaciones, o bien aprovechar el dĂa para pasear por sus extensos jardines y quizás realizar alguna cabalgata.
En esta toma nocturna se puede apreciar la hermosa arquitectura estilo francés del castillo bajo la luz de la luna y las estrellas.
ENGLISH CAPTION: "A night at the castle" The Buenos Aires Province (Argentina) has many beautiful and little-known places that seem to transport us to a fairytale... This is the case of castle of the La Candelaria ranch, which was designed and built in 1894 by the french architect French Alberto Favre on the outskirts of the city of Lobos.
This castle now functions as a touristic ranch and luxury hotel, so you can stay overnight in one of their sumptuous rooms, or spend the day around its extensive gardens and perhaps do some horseback riding.
On this night shot you can see the beautiful architecture of this french style castle under the moonlight.
