Também tirei algumas fotos do eclipe. A lente de 130mm da A620 não ajudou, mas um crop enorme (os 7MP tem de servir para alguma coisa...) até que deu um resultado mais ou menos...
The lunar eclipse last night was a once in a lifetime occurrence, and and I decided I couldn't miss it. It was very cold - minus 25C before the wind chill, and I went through 3 batteries. At the end my tripod was frozen, my remote froze, and my focus ring didn't want to work. But I got some good shots, and today my 50D is none the worse for wear....

Early morning 9 March around 8:23 was when the partial solar eclipse was at its maximum in Singapore. I took Feline and Tijn to Labrador Park, where the Singapore Astronomical Society had set up a series of telescopes to take a good peak.

This is an animated gif, which if I did it right, shows the first five minutes of the eclipse. It kind of rotates a bit at the end, but, well, you can see the moon encroaching, and the clouds going by as the sun sinks into the west.

Technically, this was about 10 minutes after sunrise, but because of the clouds along the horizon, the eclipsed sun was not yet visible. I was annoyed, at the time, by the clouds but the colors and shadows made for a beautiful ski.
