i for one (as a fishetarian who dislikes most fried food) am super happy about the mex stand (another one is coming this year i think) that opened up last year near the side show. Hello fresh bean tacos and mexican corn and fresh juice and mango on a stick. it's like the red hook ball fields... but on the beach!

So we took Lightning to the vet. We are there because Lightning keeps losing weight. As soon as we arrive he immediately sets about eating things, as if to prove to the doctor that I am crazy and he will eat anything.

This chinchilla.

Anyway, the vet did x-rays and a thorough exam. Didn't find anything wrong. We'll send in a poo sample on Monday. We're trying antibiotics just in case.

So yeah. X-rays, two physical exams and a blood test in the past month. We still don't know why Lightning's losing weight. Maybe I'm being overprotective?

I'm still going to send in some of Lightning's poo to be tested on Monday.
