Muskegon's new ice cream spot, home of the Occidental Sundae. Eat there. The sundae originated in Muskegon's demolished Occidental Hotel. See www.flickr.com/photos/22257034@N00/24259369981/in/photoli...
A hare in the Village eating Gazania flowers; the first time I have seen our local hares eat anything!
So we took Lightning to the vet. We are there because Lightning keeps losing weight. As soon as we arrive he immediately sets about eating things, as if to prove to the doctor that I am crazy and he will eat anything.
This chinchilla.
Anyway, the vet did x-rays and a thorough exam. Didn't find anything wrong. We'll send in a poo sample on Monday. We're trying antibiotics just in case.
So yeah. X-rays, two physical exams and a blood test in the past month. We still don't know why Lightning's losing weight. Maybe I'm being overprotective?
I'm still going to send in some of Lightning's poo to be tested on Monday.
San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena, Tuscany, north-central Italy. Known as the Town of Fine Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its medieval architecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses,[1] which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls form "an unforgettable skyline".[2] Within the walls, the well-preserved buildings include notable examples of both Romanesque and Gothic architecture, with outstanding examples of secular buildings as well as churches. The Palazzo Comunale, the Collegiate Church and Church of Sant' Agostino contain frescos, including cycles dating from the 14th and 15th centuries.[2] The "Historic Centre of San Gimignano", is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[2] The town also is known for the white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, produced from the ancient variety of Vernaccia grape which is grown on the sandstone hillsides of the area.
I did a shoot for Sky Eats Airplane with their new lineup last night. Their all really cool guys. Lee's done a amazing job putting together their live show's lighting and electronics. Go check them out on their next tour if you get a chance!

Themed after a 1930 MGM film called Min and Bill, Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner offers Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests the chance to relax for a bit and sink their teeth into some pretty unusual menu items. I'd recommend the hot dog in a pretzel roll.
I hope that everyone is enjoying some Good Eats today with their loved ones! I know that I'll be having my share! Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
Tired of playing second fiddle to chicken in so many meals a lone sprout of Broccoli escaped from the dinner plate and set out into the world. His only goal was to become better than the chickens he so despised, but before long he realized his low Broccoli IQ was no match for the cunning mind of a chicken, so he just ate them instead.
