A highway in East Java, cut in half by a flow of mud that has swallowed entire villages, roads and railway tracks. More than 150,000 people have been displaced by mud that has been gushing out of a drilling site.
As of December 2007 the total volume of expelled mud was estimated at 1 billion cubic feet, covering an area of 2.5 sq mi (6.5 km²), burying eleven towns and displacing at least 16,000 people.

Stopped by Sidoarjo village, on our way from Surabaya to Cemoro Lawang (Bromo).
The active crater of Bromo volcano. You can sense the sulfur from a distance when you climb to the lip of the crater. You can hear it boil
together, they are creating a nice view inside the giant caldera. you can climb mount bromo easily as there are stairs from the bottom to the rim where you can see the smoking active crater
134.Bajang Ratu, East Java. Bajang Ratu temple, located in the hamlet of Kraton, not far from Tikus temple, is one of Trowulan's principal attractions. The remains consist of an elegant gateway, built from red brick, probably dating from around the mid 14th century.The shape of the building is tall and slender, rising to a height of just over 16 metres.Restoration was completed in 1991. The gateway was originally connected to a brick wall, running off to the left and right, by way of a form resembling wings. This ornamental device, known as paduraksa, can be seen on other ancient Javanese gateways.

Ijen Boulevard is a two km stretch enclave, once an elite complex during the Dutch colonial era. The spacious street is well tended and landscaped against a backdrop of old colonial buildings.
At 2,392 meters tall, Mt Bromo is not among the tallest of Indonesia’s mountains but its stunning beauty lies in its incredible setting.
This is the road in front of the train station. quiet at night. Nearby there are motels and catholic hospital.Also there are stalls selling pecel (salad with peanuts cream dressing) with rice or nasi rawon (rice with beef soup in dark colour).
Area Mount Bromo Tours in East Java, Indonesia, is a challenging place, and amazing. Traveling in Bromo national park, covering an area of about 50,73 hectares, which is a high plateau, in the form of mountains and forests, in the district of Malang, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, and Lumajang, East Java.
This area used to be the poorest slum in Malang, on the verge of being evicted and torn down by the authorities. But a project by local uni students gave it rebirth. It went viral and became a popular instagram & tourist attraction.
