On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Bishop David Walkowiak presided during Easter Vigil in the Holy Night at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. Father René Constanza, CSP, rector of the cathedral, and Associate Pastors Father Bill Edens, CSP, and Father Michael Hennessy, CSP, concelebrated. Deacon Dennis Rybicki and Paulist Seminarian Deacon Michael Cruickshank assisted. The Vigil Mass included the Service of Light and catechumens and candidates of the parish were received into full communion with the Church.

Easter weekend 2017.

Hired a house in the small village of Meppen in Drenthe.

Friday walked in the jeneverbesgebied "De Palms".

Saturday journey over the Afsliutdijk to pick up Oma for a family day in Veendam. Evening walk in the Mepperdennen forest.

Sunday walked to the neighboring villages of Aalden and Zweeloo.

Monday a short walk in the Mantingerveld nature reserve before driving back to Amstelveen.

2011 Easter Baptism in the Pond

The Easter Lily at my mom's house is now in bloom. This plant came to my mother's house 9 years ago when my grandmother died. (It was at the funeral home) I had a shoot, but it died because I had no place to put it. I will have another shoot when I have somewhere nice to keep it and it will be a nice reminder of my grandmother.

Random fact: I love the fact that every once in awhile my mother does something that reminds me of my grandmother. It's nice to see that she will really never die, especially since I know that there are parts of me like her too.
