A double-exposure as two Seasons collide.

Another find along the trail - an uprooted pine tree with its exposed roots freely hanging in the air. The roots called for a picture of them to be taken.

I think Jos looks hot in this picture. I do. It makes me glad that Jonah's got his DNA. (Not to mention his agile mind and multilingual skills.)

Today I went with a friend to check out the Glenstone Museum, located in Potomac, Maryland, and what a place this is! Being both an art and a nature lover, this beautiful early spring day was the perfect day to go. Indoor photography is not allowed, though the exhibits are truly remarkable, and there is plenty to see outside as well. Admission is free and educators can drop in at any time with one guest during opening hours, with proof of ID. Walking along the outdoor trails is definitely a big part of the overall experience, so I strongly suggest that if you plan on visiting, wear comfortable walking shoes and be ready to do some walking. What I love about this place is that even after several hours of exploring, I never felt any sort of sensory overload or visual information fatigue, which I usually get after about a couple of hours at most museums. A lot of that had to do with the way things are so thoughtfully displayed, with a great emphasis on space. Because of this there was lots of room for pause. My only complaint was having to use a QR code on my phone to get a meal. I know so many places are going that direction, but I wish they’d give you a choice (especially since my phone has the slowest reception). For a place that emphasizes putting away electronic devices, I thought that was a bit counter to their ethos. All minor gripes aside, I can’t recommend this museum enough, particularly if you enjoy modern art and architecture, as well as nature. #theglenstone #glenstonemuseum #glenstone #theglenstonemuseum #art #museum #artmuseum #contemporaryart #modernart #conceptualart #nature #sculpture #architecture #painting #potomacmd #earlyspring

Keld or Muker ?, The Yorkshire Dales

Early spring: the first of the Early Nancy (Wurmbea dioica) are appearing, native bush peas are starting to flower and providing pollen for the bees. Old Man's beard (Clematis microphylla) is scrambling up its neighbours to bask in the sunlight.

This is right before I went to Korea, I hiked up Deer Leap with my dad and my dog.

An Old Shed in Elora. I just love photographing old dilapidated buildings from our yesterdays.

Yea!!! Finally a real sunset in the Bay Area (this is only about the 4th or 5th I can recall this whole year so far... very unusual)
