Early spring in Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy.

In the background, on the hill, there is the ancient village of Terravecchia... I like it sooo much! ;-)

To keep “social distance” I varied my walk and went across the top of the valley last night, opposite the Iron Age ramparts. Sunset was approaching and the valley was full of grazing sheep. The light was fantastic.

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

On the Iron Age Ramparts, Ham Hill Country Park, in the evening as the sun was setting. We had two consecutive evenings when this wonderful golden light flooded across the landscape.

Well, Spring isn't far off, just a few more weeks to go. I thought the winter went by fast this year since it was warm in December.

the turbulence of a spring day...

I'm sure you can imagine the feeling walking through this lovely place with Marnie a week ago. The sun was shining, it was warm and so inviting. The weather's not as nice as this now - dropped down about 10 degrees C from then. Ah well, Spring is coming ! Everyone I meet is a bit fed up with all this cold and damp though, come on Spring !

Here's some music I've grown quite passionate about through my journeys through YouTube ... I hope you like it too, oh, and my painted park, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Keep safe... we're on the road to freedom now. We have to look after ourselves in other ways too - thinking of all those who suffer from other illnesses which have been neglected because of the virus.

Thanks for looking and listening my friends. I am sorry that sometimes I'm so busy I can't keep up with your kindness - but thank you. So much.

Quite an unusual Spring. Nearly everything bloomed early here in the south and this was one of the last redbuds to be found anywhere.

The ice on Lake Hibara begins to thaw and the fishing hut is withdrawn due to danger. This is the last scene of the fishing hut this year. It was mainly used for smelt fishing.
