In the early morning, they gather amidst the morning fog, sitting, waiting, and then it begins, the harvest.
As we sailed into town, it was still early morning. The water was like glass and there was still a haze in the air.

(or here up north, during summertime, it's also known as right after sunset. ;) )
Early one morning before the frost melts. The air is sharp and your breath is cloudy and white, but your mind is clear and hopeful as you wait for the sun to come up.
Dartmoor National Park.
A little later in the morning after the recent dawn photograph. The oak tree in the field where I often start or finish my walks. This is on the outskirts of the village of Montacute.
One of the wonders of waterfalls is that even from the same viewpoint, the experience is always different, depending on time of year, time of day, the weather, the amount of snow/rainfall during the season, etc.
This is another photo from Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park. Taken early in the morning, just before the tourists arrive. This is the best time of day and amazingly, you have the falls all to yourself. An hour later, the parking lot is filling up fast and bus loads of park visitors crowd the area.
On a morning like this, I feel like the falls belong to me alone. When the first bus load arrives, I am just lending the view to the temporary visitors.
Why is it I always have ideas/stories related to my pictures but then it becomes impossible to write them down?
At school I was pretty good at writing, I even won some prizes! It's only been in the last few years, I've stopped writing, you know... we are always so busy/stressed/tired *rolls her eyes*
And it's frustrating, all those thoughts, feelings, ideas, dreams bottled up, even the thought process behind my decors and pictures, I shall make it a New Year Resolution along with the gym, new job, getting in touch with old friends, more sleep... and less screen time to read and write more, easy... isn't it?!
Yes, there was an idea behind this scene... Christmas Day is far gone, but in Spain, most of the kids, and adults are still looking forward "The Epiphany", or as we call it Día de Reyes (the Three Wise Men); so here some presents had been left to be opened the 6th of January in the morning.
I just wanted to recreate a very early morning, with kids excited around the Christmas tree opening their presents, as the parents smile at their joy and happiness while having breakfast sitting on the livingroom's floor <3

This beautiful limpkin was enjoying the morning with an awesome stretch to start the day !!! Such a glamorous bird with wonderful feather detail and markings. It was a privilege to watch this lovely species search for apple snails in the early morning light.
