A freight train arrives half an hour early to an empty station. The crew will now have to wait for their relief crew who will take the train on to its final destination. Re-enactment
I was out with my camera before breakfast to take this and other shots before shadows fell across the scene.
The boardwalk along St Marks Basin is usually filled with throngs of tourists. In the early morning hours, however, it is a treat to wander the famous area and feel and see the atmosphere which makes Venice so timeless and romantic.

This was our first taste of winter back on October 31st. I was walking through the forest in the early morning in Cornhill Woodland/ Marshfield and was impressed by the combination of winter and autumn colors.
A White Pelican drifts in the early morning waters. A foggy and windless morning, shows no ripples in the water.

Normally this butterfly appears early in June but yesterday I discovered the first in my garden!

The sky was on fire this morning, and I almost slept through and missed out on another light show! (Did that yesterday☹️!!!)
But instead of boring you with a back to back Sunset/Sunrise photo, here's an image of this Early Riser. The sun was rising as he was approaching from far away, giving me enough time to adjust the Shutter Speed.
He was looking at the rising sun!
