From the Recent "Dream" festival held on the banks of the Yarra River, Melbourne, a series of giant inflatable sculptures for the edification on the viewing public, and the glorification of the corporate sponsor.
Photos taken for reference in needlework I'm doing for the 500 year anniversary of the Chapel Dedication.
I'm putting them here for edification of the rest of the aficionados of misericords as well.

The launch of the collection begins with a handcrafted, chic interpretation of natural glass. The Holiday 2011 collection features Tektite, Aquamarine, Pyrite, African Turquoise, Peridot Jasper, Paula Shells and Green Aventurine, a Stone Savant staple. Impeccably designed with 18-carat gold closures, and a signature SSJ clasp, the holiday collection is an infectious edification of design and architecture. As crisp as the Los Angeles ocean tide and sunset air, the collection is clear and concise, dedicated to the discerning fashionista, with a sense of class, style and exclusivity.

For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

Curiouser and curioser: imagining the viewpoint of someone from a place where working to live hand-to-mouth, or someone whose livelihood is closely tied to the land and seasons, it must be baffling to see this photo of perfectly healthy people (well, corn-fed, so many times nearly or well overweight) just passing the time by looking at things for sale, treating themselves to tasty foods and drinks, or indulging in self-edification by visiting sites and reading the historical markers. Why do they do these things; what is so diverting about it; haven't they got urgent things to attend to?

For the edification of non-locals the spelling of Bridgwater is correct and the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal should not be confused with the Bridgewater Canal, which is in the North West.
This poor quality photo was taken for a specific purpose but I thought I would share it with you simply because it gives me the chance to tell you what a range of delightful experiences can be enjoyed walking, cycling or even boating along this stretch of restored waterway.
