SECR E class, built Ashford numbered 275 February 1906. SR E275, later 1275, after 1923. Renumbered 31275 May 1949 and withdrawn March 1951.
CN ES44AC 3909 approaches Arkona Road, west of Watford, leading automotive train #E275. It has surmounted the grade up from Kerwood with ease. Train #E275, from Toronto's MacMillan Yard destined for Battle Creek, Michigan, runs on an as-needed basis.

An unusual scene. First was CN L570, as the train was apparently on its way West bound for Aldershot, but for unknown reasons, they would tie the train down at Mount Pleasant, which was 18 miles outta Mac. Next was CN E275, which had an interesting lashup, with SD75I 5798 leading the autorack train, a Blue Devil and an EJ&E SD38-2 were the power of the train, as there seen overtaking the stalled 570. 5798 is a rather unusual unit, as around 2013, it recieved a repaint that would result in a misplaced nose logo. Likely a victim of the "Homewood Repaints".

CN train #E275 rounds the curve at Thorn Drive, west of Melrose, powered by SD75I 5781 and Dash 8-40C 2023.
Drawing up to the Woolwich Arsenal station stop in Thomas Street are Go-Ahead London Central E275 SN62 DMV on the 178 with Stagecoach Selkent 12447 SN67 XEM on the 161. Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2019. DSCN48679.
The 178 was double-decked from 8th December 2018 when the route was awarded to GA, it previously being operated by single-deckers from Stagecoach Selkent's Catford garage.

This is one of many curtailments in the Waterloo area today. Many buses on route 1 from Tottenham Court Road Station were seen curtailed to Bricklayer's Arms whilst a few buses on route 171 from Bellingham, all unallocated Alexander Dennis Enviro400 (E) buses from routes 36 and 436, could also be seen curtailed to Waterloo and Aldwych. WVL216 (LX06 DYW) operated on route 68 from West Norwood, curtailed to Southampton Row.

MISSION HILLS - In the afternoon of January 12, 2014, the Los Angeles Fire Department quickly responded to a Brush Fire near the Northbound 405 Freeway x the 118 Freeway. Firefighters made an aggressive ground and air attack, holding the flames to just three acres. No structures were damaged and no one was injured. The sun isn't quite right here but I think worth posting as it would seem that E261-275 are working out their final days in London service as they're now being advertised in the trade press.
I had a final short leap on E275 today on the 321, and the New Cross bound (& based) bus is seen in Sidcup.
A real shame as I've always found this batch very smooth and pleasant. No wonder TfL are losing money with this sort of wastage going on, this batch would be perfectly suitable for another contract. 10.6.18.

United Automobile Services bought ten Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/2RP with Plaxton C47F bodywork with fleet numbers 6266 to 6275 E266-275 KEF in November 1987 which they later renumbered and pictured E275 KEF later became 1315. It is pictured in the long gone United garage on Upgang Lane,Whitby in 1989
NORTH HILLS - An early morning fire, on April 24, 2016, damaged an auto repair business, but no injuries were reported.
The blaze was reported at 12:53 a.m. at 8429 Sepulveda Blvd.
At least two vehicles were reported on fire in separate service bays at an L-shaped row of auto repair firms.
It took firefighters just 22 minutes to knock down the fire, which was confined to one of the repair facilities.
The cause and the amount of damage, is under investigation.

PACOIMA - Los Angeles Firefighters rushed from the ground and air to assist those injured in a traffic collision on February 25, 2013. A van, in which 6 were riding, was struck by a pick-up truck at Laurel Canyon Bl and Van Nuys Bl in Pacoima.
There were a total of 5 patients: 4 y/o M & 30 y/o F (mother) transported by LAFD helicopter to a local trauma center in serious to critical condition. 1 y/o M & 2 y/o M transported via ground ambulance in unknown condition. 1 patient was assessed but declined transport.
LAPD is investigating the cause of the collision.

SYLMAR - Los Angeles Firefighters respond to the NB 5 Fy x Roxford St on the morning of November 21, 2012 to find a trash truck that dumped its load after it caught fire. The flames were quickly extinguished and firefighters began an extensive cleanup to quickly reopen freeway lanes. No one was injured. Dispatched Units: E275 T75 E298 T98 E91. Photo by Adam VanGerpen.
