92007 pilots 56065 at Coventry, running as 1Z85 - Pathfinders' "Hop n Stop" to Folkstone Harbour and back.
Starting 2021 as 2020 ended with yet another of the "Tunnel Six" DB Cargo Class 92s heading to Crewe ETD.
92036 "Bertolt Brecht" is the fourth member of the micro-fleet now at the ETD along with 011, 019 and 042. This leaves just 015 and 041 at Dollands Moor, supplemented by GBRf’s 032.
92036 was heading in to the ETD to be the last of the active DB UK fleet to have the new in-house designed pyrogen fire suppression system fitted after the original system became illegal (as of 01/01/2021) due its use of halon gas.
The Dyson was hauled to Crewe from Wembley on a 0K06 VSTP path courtesy of VSOE-liveried Class 67, 67 021 (out of shot) along with its partner 67 024 (which had moved 92 036 from Dollands to Wembley earlier in the day on 0B34).
DB Cargo Class 92s, 92 015 and 92 036 "Bertolt Brecht" pass through Crewe station on the 0K06 loco move from Wembley to Crewe IEMD for exams/repairs. EWS-liveried Class 67, 67 016, was performing the towing honours on this occasion.
92028 dragging 92044 "Couperin" and 92041 "Vaughan Williams" past Cathiron on 0Z45 Crewe TMD (E) to Wembley Inter City Depot.

One of last weeks cake and can't say I really enjoyed making this, lots of things I'd do differently next time (if I ever get asked for this again)! A big cake, the size of the smallest Dyson and enough to feed 100. Made from a combination of sponge, RKT and polystrene dummies.
GB Railfreight Class 92, 92014 leads sister locomotive 92018 (Dead In Train) through Hartford with the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16). This was a pre-planned move to get the latter "Dyson" south for maintenance at Wembley.
The service was running around 45 minutes late due to the driving being delayed on his inbound working (1S26) to Preston after a points failure at Wembley the previous evening.

With the DB Cargo Class 92 fleet down to one working locomotive (036) and two out of service (011 and 019) at Dollands Moor on the morning of 7 July, the return of 92041 and 92015 from Crewe ETD was a very welcome sight.
92041 "Vaughan Williams" had been at the ETD for a long-weekend for a C Exam and tyre-turning.
92015, however, had been out of action for much longer. Having suffered wheelset damage at the tunnel in late February it was eventually moved by road to Crewe in late April to be repaired.
Arriva Trains Wales-liveried Class 67, 67001 was performing the towing honours for the Dysons on 0A06, with the last remaining Wrexham & Shropshire / Chiltern-liveried Skip 67012 on the rear ready to be the taxi home from Wembley for the Crewe driver. 67001 then took the two 92s on to Dollands as 0B71.
