I was 12 or so when I sent off a packet of drawings and a fan letter to Dynamo Joe artist Doug Rice.
Seems it took a year for the package to get to him. So I was shocked when so much later a package arrived for me including some crits of my sketches, as well as some original sketches he had done.
The mascot of the Houston Dynamo came out to visit the library and gave a great program for the children. He gave out free T-shirts and really pumped up some enthusiasm for the Dynamo team!
