both sport and fingering weight, in the shop, October 2008.

A summer and fall's worth of dyeing.

I’m so excited to present this series of semi-solid colourways for the SweetGeorgia sock yarns as a dye-to-order series. Available in the Superwash Sock or the slightly thicker, Superwash Sport, we’ll be dyeing as many skeins of these colours as you like. Over time, I’m looking to expand the series and also add back our more variegated colourways. I know that knitters want what they want when they want it, so I’m hoping to provide this option to many of you. From left to right: China Doll, Raspberry, Pistachio, Saffron, Tourmaline, Orchid, Boysenberry.

Showing original whiter colour of Aida in the small sample. Prefer this tea-dyed colour for the spot it will be in.

Lemon balm, onion, walnut, rhubarb, ground ivy, dandelion, copper, and madder helped to create my "Weed of the Week" collection.

This is dyed doll. i modeled the colors after a christmas rose. Her name is Gaelic word for rose. To pronounce it right it would be Roshen. My mom named her which works out because it is her Christmas present. This a three color dye job. I used brown, green, and red. She is a dollzone big dipper.

Handspun White-faced Woodland, Southdown; dyed with logwood extract (left) and onionskin (right)

Finished quilt! Lots of fmq designs in the white negative space (graffiti quilting style). Curly feathers and matchstick quilting create vertical movement in the red piecing.

I knitted the white silk into an I-cord. I then dyed the silk using acid dyes. I unknitted the silk and crocheted into a continuous necklace.

As a recap, my world was created by seven beings which are ranked even above the gods.

.

Michael is the first being who, not unlike Barachiel, does not care enough to take a form that allows interaction. They are a wisp of smoke, occassionally taking a form easier on the eyes to allow them to speak to the other beings.

.

Knows exactly what went (and goes) on (looking at you, Two, Seven and Five) but couldn't care less.

.

I had a uh, productive day. Lots of dye, spray paint and a few Azone hands were killed in the name of ART. Needs a slightly less top heavy halo for every day use tho 😂

Hand-dyed, handspun wool yarn created by me.

She came out darker than I wanted, which bums me a bit. But she will lighten over the next few days. Hoping she lightens to the colour I want.

Finally finished! The image was screen print dyed onto the warp strings and then woven. More about that here:

Hand dyed fabric in pretty pastels. I love the off-white with these colors!

Pale ochre to brown agate, dyed in a lot of different colors.

Isn't this cool?

It's a white orchid with pink tips. They stuck it in a tube full of turquoise/blue water and.....TA DA!!

The show was so crowded this year, it was almost impossible to take any wide angle shots. The other drawback of shooting at the flower show it that it's held in a big warehouse type structure, so if you aim you camera upward you catch all the infrastructure and industrial lighting, which is not attractive. So a large majority of my photos were macros.........and over 1/2 of them were of orchids! So here is orchid # 1

My wife dyed a few hard boiled eggs for Easter.
