Il panorama delle casse Bluetooth più o meno waterproof, più o meno shockproof, più omeno dustproof è ricco e variegato, spesso costellato di cineserie o di gusci di plastica pressoché inutili; qui siamo su un altro livello, nella fascia alta della categoria, e si sente.
Andando con ordine: le casse arrivano in una confezione trasparente in cui possiamo subito apprezzare l'aspetto massiccio degli altoparlanti, comunque protetti da uno spesso strato di spugna sagomata su misura; al di sotto, piccolo libretto di istruzioni, cavetto USB - microUSB per la ricarica, e cavo aux da 3.5 mm per l'ascolto. Esteticamente, si tratta di un robusto parallelepipedo rivestito in plastica soft touch, lungo circa 12 cm, con integrato un moschettone fatto come si deve. Sul lato superiore i comandi ed i led di stato (anche quello della batteria, cosa rara!).
Nel comparto tecnico c'è da sbizzarrirsi: innanzitutto, doppio altoparlante, per una potenza totale di 7 W ed un volume risultante veramente elevato, forse addirittura eccessivo al massimo livello, eppure un audio pulito e senza distorsioni. Una incredibile batteria da 1700 mAh, praticamente ai livelli di uno smartphone, che garantisce fino a 12 ore di riproduzione! Multimedialità elevatissima: ingresso aux per un ascolto senza disturbi da qualsiasi dispositivo, connettività bluetooth per smartphone e affini, e funzionalità NFC per un pairing ancora più immediato.
Una nota a parte merita lo slot microSD, presente anche su queste casse come su diversi prodotti simili, che però qui assume un altro rilievo: la possibilità di inserire un'intera libreria musicale, insieme alla robustezza del prodotto e all'elevata autonomia, lo rendono praticamente uno stereo portatile, in poco più di 12 cm. Attenzione al formato dei file nella scheda, queste casse leggono le estensioni più diffuse ma non le .m4a, estensione predefinita di iTunes.
Molto bene anche le telefonate e il funzionamento complessivo, i tasti rispondono bene, la risposta è veloce, il sistema passa automaticamente all'ingresso microSD se si inserisce una scheda nello slot e va in pairing se all'accensione non trova collegamenti. Classica condivisione dei tasti fra le funzioni di navigazione e di gestione del volume, con una pressione breve per le prime e di 2/3 secondi per il volume.
Come si può desumere dalla recensione, questi altoparlanti sono potenti, pensati bene e costruiti con cura, ad un prezzo (scontato) molto molto conveniente: non posso che dare cinque stelle!
