Calling this body of water a "lake" is a bit of a stretch; it's actually a very small pond. Very pretty pond, but definitely a pond!

Me partly across the creek. The water was flowing smoothly but fast, and the bottom was so slippery you just skated along towards disasterif you weren't careful.

We hiked up to High Falls in the DuPont State Forest in the Smoky Mountains, it was pretty amazing. Hard to see in this picture is the left side of the falls, people were going about half way up on the rock surface and scooting into the water and riding it down like a water slide.
