Il profumo inconfondibile del legno nelle sue diverse fragranze (cedro, pino, ciliegio…) ha conquistato e ispirato anche la casa di moda Canadese Dsquared2 che ha dedicato al legno un’intera collezione di profumi. La linea non poteva che chiamarsi WOOD ed ogni boccetta di profumo è costituita da un tipo di legno di verso.
WOOD PERFUME
The sweet natural perfume of wood in its different fragrances (cedar, pine, cherry...) has conquered and inspired also the Canadian fashion company Dsquared2, who dedicated an entire perfume collection wood and its essences. Guess what name was chose for the nw perfume line? WOOD! Each bottle is composed of and dedicated to a different type of wood.

'Gangnam Style' is a socio-cultural commentary on South Korean hyper-consumerism and material pursuit, using Gangnam, a glitzy district of Seoul, as an example. PSY's colourful suit, bowtie and large sunglasses, which he wore in the video, lampoon the chic fashion of affluent Seoulites in Gangnam. His look and unbridled horse-riding moves are intended to reflect the frivolity of those he considers to be 'posers' and 'wannabes' longing to be part of the Gangnam clique.

Hallyu! The Korean Wave

Hallyu! The Korean Wave showcases the colourful and dynamic popular culture of South Korea, exploring the makings of the Korean Wave and its global impact on the creative industries of cinema, drama, music, fandom, beauty and fashion.
From K-Pop costumes to K-drama props and posters, alongside photography, sculpture, fashion, video and pop culture ephemera, the exhibition invites visitors to delve into the phenomenon known as 'hallyu' – meaning 'Korean Wave'. Hallyu rose to prominence in the late 1990s, rippling across Asia before reaching all corners of the world and challenging the currents of global pop culture today.
Hallyu! The Korean Wave explores the makings of the Korean Wave through cinema, drama, music and fandoms, and underlines its cultural impact on the beauty and fashion industries. The exhibition features around 200 objects alongside pop culture ephemera and digital displays across four thematic sections.
