It is probably a little after 9pm now and going on two and a half hours strong as people are filtering in and out.
WHAT IT IS
"CiviCRM is web-based, internationalized constituent relationship management software --- designed specifically to meet the needs of advocacy, non-profit and non-governmental groups.
Integration with both Drupal and Joomla content management systems gives you the tools to connect, communicate and activate your supporters and constituents."
WHAT'S NEW?
"Check out the new CiviCRM web-site at civicrm.org .... !
We've re-designed and re-organized the site from the ground up, and we
hope folks will find it easier to locate resources and learn about the
project...
The new site includes a Professional Services directory, and we
encourage you to check out the listings if you need technical
resources to implement or extend CiviCRM...
We'll be using the Team blog to post interesting news and updates as
to what's happening on the project here...
We've also collected some of your "success stories" and have them
rotating on the front page. Let us know if you want to add your story
to the site...
We'll be theming our resource sites (FAQs, Wiki, Issue-tracker...)
over the next few weeks so that they all have the same look and feel.
A big thanx to the folks at Eggplant Active Media Cooperative (
www.eggplant.coop/ ) who designed and implemented our new look
and feel.
