a little drunk
We had just been out with one of the groomsman and his date at a party. We had just dropped his date off and we had stopped by our place for another drink when the old polaroid came out. He was teasing her about trying to act like a bad girl, getting plastered then smoking, when she was actually was such a a goody-two-shoes.
This one come initially from a mistake... When I uploaded the RAW from my last session on Lightroom, I was on the way to immediately delete this picture from the first selection at the first round when suddenly a "what if" came to my mind. So I convinced myself to try working on it and see if I can reach the expected result I was thinking of.
Always think twice before "excluding" a shoot from your selection.
This is China~~
okay... we are wasted.. I'll take these off as soon as I wake in the late afternoon sometime. You can tell we are drunk cause my right eye is a little closed and ling looks happy.
This bee had consumed so much lavender nectar that it was literally drunk and could barely move. Made for a great photo op! Shot with a Canon 100mm lens. f32, .5 sec, ISO 400.
Drunk.
(Linoleum Cut).
Drunk.
Not to drink just to catch a little buzz ,
No!
To get wasted beyond recognition,
to wake up the next morning,
asking where am I?
Who am I?
Not to say,
Im never going to drink that much again,
No!
That is for pussies,
if you plan on getting drunk for the night,
week,
what ever ,
do it in a way,
that will make all the drunks of the past smile,
have them say,
now that's a person ,
that can make even us here in the graves proud!
And even if the soil is wet and cold,
it warms our hearts knowing,
there is at least one person above,
that knows what it takes to be a,
(Drunk)!

Yesterday I stumbled across some sunflowers on my walk home from work. Lucky me I also came across some honey bees that were literally drunk off the pollen. They could barely fly, it made for some good shots tho 📷
Home on the grange? It looks like I slipped into a prairie shack series. More abandoned farmstead homes northeast of Longmont, Colorado west of I-25 north to Wyoming. Living here provides a great view across the prairie. Some drunk Hispanics beat us here and how do you clean tagging on native wood lap siding walls? Even the chimney bailed. Prairie land, indeed! This old tumbleweed trapping homestead (anything traps tumbleweeds) was along the rural route and shot earlier then Pelican Pond house as the sky was beginning to develop. The rent is a bargain for Colorado's Front Range! This could be an ideal day to hang some clothes to dry out on the line... especially if a breeze comes up. It's close to the house. The day tapped us out by noon after all the road tripping and scurrying around. Even eDDie got tapped out. Clouds were starting to stream in from the divide and punch up the afternoon sky after a mid-day crash. Time to bail again!
eDDie tracked me down Friday night and after breakfast with [Wyoming Wanderer] Frank, eDDie and I trekked out to shacks directly along I-25 and I almost filled my film card for the very first time with these collapsing shacks. We accidentally hit unexpected killer skies developing in middle morning. If spring drops some rain, I'd suggest some drop here. It doesn't look like April yet! Boy, I better shed my jacket pretty soon! The windows are open to let the morning breezes through.
Boy has the weather ever jumped around wildly in the valley and here we are enjoying another bomb tornado. Yesterday, we hit 79 in the area. We may get a couple of inches on the ground now but have another really special winner for Nebraska and the upper mid-west.
