A juvenile cedar waxwing in the grass last summer at Mill Pond. He was staggering around a bit and I was worried that he was injured. It turns out that he had eaten too many fermented berries and was tipsy. After about half an hour he sobered up enough to fly into a tree. I hope he learned his lesson. :)

Had a few too many at the bar and ready to drop... but he was there. Mr. Wick, my hero... standing from afar, watching me.
He sees the state I'm in, then approaches casually.
"Nobody is going to hurt you tonight Ms. Cameron. I'm taking you home".
That perked me up a bit as I looked into his eyes, thinking that I might get lucky.
He gets me home to my flat, looks around then eyes my decanter of fine bourbon.
"May I?", he asks.
I nod figuring he might need to loosen up a bit first.
As his sips his drink he asks, "Do you need help out of that dress or can you manage?"
I then kick off my heels, wiggle out of my dress, letting it fall to my ankles.
I felt a bit awkward as he glanced over to my naked form.
"I've seen naked women before", grinning in my direction.
"Get in bed", he says with a demanding but kind voice.
He then approaches and covers me with the duvet, placing a hand gently on my face with a slight smile on his.
"Good night Ms. Cameron. Thank you for the drink", then off he went into the night.
I laid there as I heard his car start up then drive away.
"What the hell just happened?", letting out a drunken girlish giggle.
I got up and finished his drink, tasting his lips. Possibly the only taste that I will ever get.

My last Photography post of 2015! A little artsy-fartsy fun with some intentional camera movement on an impromptu trip up town yesterday, posted now as this will no doubt be me in a couple of hours! ;P
