The water's fine. The fisheye effect gives me the impression that I'm about to trip and fall into the frame.
Dropping Well Farm, situated between Kidderminster and Bewdley, has been intensively farmed for decades but a £1.4 million project aims to create the county's largest heathland habitat. GWR Saddle Tank Locomotive 813 with a demo freight train, is seen above one of the fields planted with sun flowers to encourage the bird wildlife.

AAW December 9 - 16: All About the Light
WIT: I used a flash to for an attempt at water drop photography. Set the camera on a tripod, flash on camera, and had a tray of water with coloured papers behind to reflect different colours. Coordinating drops (from an eyedropper) with the shutter was most difficult, and took many many tries before I got some results I could live with. In post, just cropped and adjusted the contrast and colours.
One straight out of the camera. Well almost. I did drop the clarity a little bit and the spot healing brush was applied to a couple of very small spots.
Got a bit carried away with this weeks theme of water.
I have done the classic water drop photoshoot before but always wanted to go back to it to try and improve my technique....
This little collection were all taken in 45 minutes before my batteries on my flash ran out for the second time.
Off camera flash fired at full power by radio trigger.

Due to a quirk of light and where I was standing, this drop of water hanging from a spider web appears to be half full.
I needed a landscape photo for today and thought that this one from my 2008 Point-and-Shoot archives will do the trick.
This is the first, easy, part of the road. After a while it becomes very narrow with a vertical drop on one side and a near vertical cliff face on the other. When you meet someone coming from the front the fun starts.......
