Hey - if you like it - let me know what it was you liked!

St Theo has been a huge influence while building this along with some of the usual suspects, namely Steel Battalion.

Kicking off the year with a bang!

Shoutouts to my boys Xavier and Mike for posting with me today to kick off Droneuary!

Well I finally built one, am finally posting it, and am finally taking a share in all the Droneuary goodness going on! Hope you like, God bless!

Obsolescence was inevitable..........

Landline severed, Rotary Drone waits for his next command that will never come.

The Allen-Princeton Robotics Infantry Scout Drone will join your team as a regular soldier but will last longer and does not require rations or rest. It can last for several weeks without reloading and its batteries can also be used to power other equipment.

This is my entry in the Drone category of Space Jam 2018!

TanD the messenger asked for a meeting with the supreme leader and they went to a scattered place to be able to speak and not be seen, DR-ONE wants to know what the messenger has to say that is important

Guarding the wastelands. No one really knows why. Perhaps it was once a government facility and the drone is unable to override its programming. So it is stuck there until it breaks down or is shot to pieces. A modern landmark of human engineering - the drone. Drones were once the pinnacle of science, humanoid figures able to do almost everything humans could do. One line of drones, the XG line, had one fatal flaw. It ignored the First Law in obeying the Third Law. Someone had forgotten (purposefully? perhaps we'll never know) to put the last phrase of the Third Law into their programming - "as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law" and thus the robot apocalypse began. The XG line of drones began malfunctioning (and it was no short run - they had been in production for at least 25 years) and soon government facilities lay in ruins everywhere. Soon it spread to major cities as the unstoppable mob of drones raced across the U.S. Unlike humans, they were untiring. They ran down everything in their path. Some of them had been military drones and were capable of using weaponry. Some pockets of resistance met the drones and halted their stampede. Currently, they are the only thing that stands between the drones and the entire Eastern Seaboard. God bless those incredibly brave men and women. I pray they can hold them back long enough for reinforcements to arrive.

Allow me to introduce the 'Pigtailed Reapers'.

Tasked with infantry conscription, these automatons employ an extremely simple recruitment method:

1. Target Acquisition.

2. Headshot.

3. Mechanical Resurrection.

Happy Droneuary, Kiddies!

This Armored Protection Entity, upon gaining sentience and breaking free from under the thumb of his meatbag master, found the hard things inside the squishy things quite pleasant, and started a collection.

Though less common than the DY-08 loader, the M-Tron lifter is nonetheless a capable assistant to any longshoreman.

One final drone for Droneuary!

Is Droneuary still a thing?

The real fun starts above 200 decibels, literally shredding meatbag hearing.

Used in the Buggoid Conflicts - Deployed in numbers, it's primary purpose is to be airdropped into hot zones and clear the way for the more specialized two man teams used to clear hiveworlds.

Armed with a 50. cal turret auto turret, it's earned the nickname "the holepuncher".

Do androids dream of electric shepherds?

Born to unleash unrelenting fury upon it's own kind, in an effort to reboot the system in it's own image.

Wait, whats everyone doing with rovers? Ah crap, Droneuary is over isn't it? Real life seems to be slowing the build train down lately - well off to tinker with rovers if I can find the time.

My build for Droneuary this year, continuing my idea of mohawked drones! Technically I built this last year but wasn’t able to finish the legs until a few days afterwards (My first two attempts couldn't support the weight properly). Then this month I ended up building a different base for it that’s much better than what I previously had, and finally took pictures of it. This is also my tallest drone/mech overall, at just over 1 foot tall, which made for a different building process for me. Overall I’m really pleased with how it turned out, I love how the dark blue and yellowish green look together, and am super satisfied with the shaping I achieved to make it look slender but menacing. Hope you all enjoy it too!

Built for Droneuary.

Dr.One V2 has many followers but some are on another level and are fundamental, the Sniper being one of them, from above, it controls and puts things in order in its own way.

Alien is still alive... something has happened... now is evil mechanical!!!

This is my first contribution to Droneuary. The main idea behind this was to use the axes that I got in a set draft.

Trying in vain to come up with something for DRONEUARY. Why does mecha hate me so?

Happy Droneuary, Ladies!

"Hush now baby, don't you cry.

You'll get to walk, after you die."

I give thee my 2016 offering, 'Full Metal Fetus'.

The 'Undead Collective' can't create frontline military units like the 'Dead Kid Drone' without it's army of body-part scavengers.

Enter the 'Full Metal Fetus', the tireless worker drone charged with cadaver reclamation.

Almost 4 meters tall, Faun strikes fear into its owner's enemies. This drone is one of the most versatile recent vehicles designed by Neolith corporation, that can perform various roles: from infantry fire support to safeguarding and protecting secret facilities - everything at the discretion of the customer.

Is it already January...? Or as you MOCers call it - Droneuary.

Started as a bit of tablescrap with legs from Inostrancevia, but I really like eventual result. Also I'm showing off custom parts of mine - those bullpup rifles and a heavy machine gun on the drone itself. Maybe (definitely) I'll use this thing in future dioramas.

Designed as an aerial planetary research and transport vehicle for the Deep Space Explorer (DSE) missions, the Autonomous Aerial Support Unit (ARSU) is a quad-engine flying robot that can withstand rough climate conditions and carry heavy loads across long distances, operating either autonomously or remote controlled.

FEATURES

- Can carry research and transport attachments

- Maneuverable on vacuum and low density atmospheres

- Internal All-around Reference Stability System (ARSS) makes hovering possible even on tough weather conditions

- Onboard Autonomous Reference Guidance System (ARGS) for precise navigation without external triangulation

- Thermal Protective Layered Material (TPLM) outer shell for low weight and climate protection

- Foldable engines for easy transport

Used for decades by the NCS Military as a heavy hauler, the FPX-2 is the ultimate workhorse. With a 1900KG max load, the "Grunter" can fulfill both military and commercial applications alike. Contact your local FPX sales representative and ask about our attractive new leasing options!

MOAR DRONES

The CP-50 Urban Pacification Mech, better known by their nickname "Streetsweeper", were only deployed in extreme circumstances. Given their "take no prisoners" design, it's questionable whether they really contribute much to public safety...

A walker for Droneuary.

Enjoy.

Wow, two consecutive uploads two days in a row! :-D just in time for Droneuary.

They struck the planes, the helicopters, anything that flew first. To isolate us. But their own flyers still patrol, still darken the sky. They never report human activity - only the ground units do that. Do they not see, or do they not care?
