My paternal grandma Coira Evangeline Andrews passed away on monday at the age of 86.
Grandma was a wonderful, loving person, and so the trip south to Timaru today was both very sad, but also a great celebration of a special person that a great number of people are going to miss.
I travelled alongside my sister, her partner Mike (pictured), my girlfriend Johanna and my lovely little niece Madeline, though I didn't feel inclined to take many photos.
However I feel this particular photo (which continues a series of rear-vision-mirror portraits i've taken) is worth sharing, particularly because it shows the warmth within Mike's eyes.
