Moped driver parking near a SITA bus stop sign.
I was waiting across the road for the bus. That very morning, I had been thinking that while I had seen many scooters, I had not seen any pedal-assisted mopeds. Then this guy came along.
Town of Minori on the Amalfi Coast of Italy in late October 2010.
Seen yesterday on the way home. I had to look twice to realize that there was a non-human driver sitting in that car...
I really love "The Riches"---the show is well-written and well-acted. Except when it comes to the use of an iPhone. I know I'm getting awfully nerdy here, but it's a little too obvious that Minnie Driver's character is using the phone upside-down. Apparently, this has also been observed on Friday Night Lights and Bionic Woman.
William Driver was a sea merchant and Civil War Patriot from Tennessee. He was not a Confederate Patriot, he was a Union Patriot. He received a US flag in 1831 on his birthday and said that it was so pretty, he will call it Old Glory. Thats where we get thatb term from. When the Civil War broke out. he feared that the Confederate forces would burh his flag, so he hid it until he could get past the Confederate lines and to the state capiol in Nashville. He then raised the flag over the capitol and guarded it all night to make sure they didnt destroy it. Upon his death, he gave the flag to his daughter and told her to cherish it. The flag stayed in the family until 1922 when it was given to the Smithsonion Institute in Washington DC. Driver is buried in Nashville City Cemetery in Nashville, Tn.

One of our driver's pride and joy is this RTW, seen in our yard today. Since we're closed today I allowed him to use our workshop...
Ronald Driver was at the Duke of Bedford School, Thorney from April 1947 to December 1977.
He trained at Peterborough Training College after leaving the army and became responsible for art throughout the school. He became deputy headmaster in 1953
Excellent in all artistic skills, he taught art, stage design and model making. Most of the printing needed for school events was produced by his students under his supervision. He gave unstintingly of his time for any school activity and he was excellent with older children, who respected him thoroughly.
He coached children in field athletics, particularly the throwing events, and was chairman of the Peterborough Schools Athletic Championships. His interests included walking, photography and bird-watching.

The lady seems not entirely convinced by the claim that this Caterham Superlight R500 can work as a daily driver. Taken at the Pistonheads Sunday Service at BMW UK.
Not exactly the air ride, high back, arm rest equipped, plush seat we have today, and not a cup holder to be seen.
A Belmont Police Officer takes pictures of a car that crashed into a tree early Sunday morning on South Point Rd. South of town. Police say that the driver of the car lost control, on the wet road, and crashed into a tree. He was flown to Carolina's Medical Center with serious injuries. Police continue to work to piece together details of that lead to the accident.
