PureShot Driver is a new training aid club for golfers who want to drive the ball further and straighter every time by hitting the sweet spot of their driver. PureShot Driver teaches you how to do that by you practicing hitting balls with it. The club’s elevated, oval sweet spot exaggerates all of the shots that are not made in the center of the club's face. It teaches you how to hit the sweet spot every time by giving you direct feedback through ball flight, sound and feel.

I ordered the parts I needed from Pinball Resource today. I talked to the owner, who was very knowledgeable and helpful, but unfortunately had a very gruff, "New Yorker" manner of speaking, so the entire time he was giving me helpful pointers and advice he sounded like I'd just kicked his grandmother down a flight of stairs.
One thing he mentioned was that that bad solenoid meant that I had a blown transistor somewhere. I was wondering what caused solenoids to go bad, and now I know. Armed with the manual, I tracked the bad transistor down. It's here on the driver board, which I've pulled out of the machine to replace the bad transistor.
POP ELECTRONICS QUIZ!!!
Can you spot the bad transistor that killed the solenoid?
