The butterflies are everywhere this spring. I've never seen so many, so early in the season. Probably due to the unusually warm winter we just had... this is a painted lady butterfly enjoying the new growth in the daisy patch.

This was taken in a beer garden at a small festival called " Koči v Chotči" in the small village of Choteč.
I have no room left in my cupboards so I have a little drinks station all set up ready to go for a mug of coffee or a cup of tea.
A lady at a craft show we were at had bottles with lights in them and very kindly let me photograph them for a bit. :]

This woman was the lead singer, and by far the loudest of the three. She handed off her instrument and attracted much attention.
Fill glasses with whatever you like to drink and go forth and play. These were Appletini and Pomegranate mixers w/ vodka.
UPDATE: Hah!! I'm highly amused; Discover Magazine's blog just used this pic in an entry taking about the difference between Beer Pong and Beer Bong. I'm glad I could add my little part to end this ages-old argument. *laughs*

Found this old unopened soft drink bottle. The yellow dots (unknown substance) sit suspended within the beverage like you'd see in a lava lamp. Verrrrry strange.
Has anybody out there actually ever drank any of this stuff?
Our home bees drink from a bucket with an old tea towel on it ( tea towel soaks up the water ), easier for them to drink and they don't drown.
