We had front row seats at the poolside! This is the view from the hide at Little Makalolo hide in Hwange National Park Zimbabwe

In the tribal areas of SW Orissa.

Only a few of the older women wear this kind of traditional jewellery now.

"The Gadaba are one of the prominent tribal communities of Orissa. The name 'Gadab' has been derived from the work 'Gada', the name of a brook in the Godavari Valley. The Gadaba speak Mundari language called Gutob. The Gadaba women decorate their bodies with ornaments. Some Gadaba women wear large earrings made of long pieces of brass wire welded into a circle which hangs down from a hole in the ear that reaches the shoulder. They also use ornaments, like rings (mudi) in their nose and on their fingers and bead necklace, and bangles made of brass. The hair is neatly combed and fixed at the back by hairpins". Another shot of the stuffed big boy I posted a few days ago that was descending from a kjopje. This was where he was heading and after he had his drink he went back up another kjopie and took a well deserved nap.

Don't you just love his wrinkly stockings?

Delicious French Beer and Cidre

You guys went drinking too early. Trying to obey the rule of thirds here to use as an example in school.

Magical Sunset.

I used two Yongnuo YN560ii Flashes at 1/32 on either side of the fish tank and a SB-700 mounted 1/32 facing the front of the tank on a tripod.

Castleton

This old water filled stone trough would at one time have been used as a drinking place for horses and cattle. It’s situated on a track just outside the village of Castleton. The water is still quite clean looking despite all the plants growing in and around it.

Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.

I was going to title it "The Times, They are A-changing" however, I forgot to photograph a MP3 player... and perhaps, even a Spotify screenshot... oh well.

Created for Kreative People's October challenge: Music.

Title is in reference to this song... such a great tune: 'Drink Your Wine' - Bush (feat. a very young Dominic Troiano).

Dom was (sadly passed) a great Canadian guitarist. When I first moved to the big city, searching to become a rock star, I met him at Long and McQuades music store on Bloor and we wiled a couple of hours away chatting and trying out various guitars, mostly Strats,

The vinyl is, of course, Alice Cooper's School's Out... one of the greatest vinyl packaging jobs ever. Not sure whatever became of the panties?

A huge Dream Theater fan, Words and Images is my numero uno favorite.

Finally, I think the Radio Shack cassette must of had a Santana song on it at some point, thus the taped-on photo of Carlos.

Making friends while having a pint at Mahuffer's Bar, Indian Shores, Florida.

The world goes by at speed while a drink or two is enjoyed.

Saw this on the main road heading into Barmouth, in Wales.

There's a pram left outside next to the bins. Delightful!

We did not go inside...

We made a "camera" with 3000+ drinking straws to create cool digital pointillist photos like these! Click here to see how we did it: youtu.be/zdre3CY7kYs

Cocktails, beer, make-up and dressing up.. a great way to spend a weekend! :)

One of my GG friends (who regularly donates her dresses to me) complained that she never had any occasions to wear pretty dresses. So.. what better occasion than to go to a hip cocktail bar?!

The picture in the middle is actually much later in the night, after we were (more or less) kicked out of the cocktail bar.. and we decided to go to a normal bar after changing into more casual outfits. We were unstoppable! :P

Amazing old Coca-Cola signage in a small town in Georgia. I loved the old brickwork and windows in the old general merchandise store.

The Taj Mahal (pronounced /tɑdʒ mə'hɑl/ ---- Hindi: ताज महल; Persian/Urdu: تاج محل) is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Today it is one of the most famous and recognisable buildings in the world and while the white domed marble mausoleum is the most familiar part of the monument, the Taj Mahal is an extensive complex of buildings and gardens that extends over 22.44 Hectares and includes subsidiary tombs, waterworks infrastructure, the small town of 'Taj Ganji' and a 'moonlight garden' to the north of the river.
