Italian dressing table of the 20th century. Furniture in Louis XVI style richly inlaid in rosewood, palisander, walnut, maple, mahogany and fruitwood. Dressing table finished for the center with four legs. Top floor in character with oval mirror supported by side columns with bronze ornaments and decorative cups (see photo). Furniture ideal to fit in a room. Dressing table which is part of a complete bedroom set (see photo and ask for the block price if available). It shows some signs of time and small veneer lacks. Overall in a fair conservative state.

Beautiful Italian dressing table from the 20th century. Furniture finished for the center in carved, lacquered and painted wood with floral decorations of pleasant decor. Double body dressing table in Louis XVI style with three front drawers of good capacity. Furniture complete with a working key and original tilting mirror. Top of the dressing table covered with floral fabric with different signs of wear (see photo), to be replaced. Furniture that is part of a complete bedroom set (see photo and ask the block price if available). It has color drops and small wooden lacks, to be restored.

Long weekend in Yorkshire.

Castle Howard is a private residence, the home of the Carlisle branch of the Howard family for more than 300 years.

Building to a design by Sir John Vanbrugh for the 3rd Earl of Carlisle began in 1699 and took over 100 years to complete. The Carlisle inheritance was split in 1911 when Castle Howard was inherited by the younger son.

The estate is famous for its use in the TV and cinematic productions of Brideshead Revisited.

Feb 2 I made the dressing table from Barbie's plastic chair. It is clad with plastic lace. The top is a photo frame into which I put a piece of foil.

here's a long shot of the turquoise stoned caddy as it sits among many other pieces of mixed provenance.
