"From the Sublime to the Ridiculous" New York City’s Easter Parade attracts thousands. From the elegantly chic to the wacky bizarre, New Yorkers parade their finery on Easter Sunday along Fifth Avenue, which closes to traffic between 10 AM – 3 PM for the 2012 Easter Parade.
The 2012 Easter Parade included the usual array of striking outfits, zany hats, colorful canine attire, and dancing. Where else could you stroll on Easter Sunday and be so entertained!
This couple must hail from the United Kingdom and are reminding everyone of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Girl had her Holiday Dance at school this weekend. I just don't know where the time has gone...
(And this lovely tree is not ours... it is at our neighbors house where the girls got "dance ready."

On Saturday night, Dan and I got dressed up nice so we could go out for a fancy anniversary dinner. First we got to visit his sister and brother-in-law, to meet Dan's new nephew, which was super awesome. Dinner, on the other hand, was a little disappointing, as the restauraunt was full of rowdy t-shirt clad Rutgers fans, rather than other fancily-clad people. The food was good, though, and we did get dressed up pretty, and then we got home, drank a ton more wine and watched Total Recall. So, a win, really.

So mad that the one good pic of us is out of focus! My new Canon seems to have major problems focusing in low light. :(
Our first night out together in some time, we were guests at our school's Madrigal dinner. If I look a little bloated (more than usual) it is because, unlike Ginger, I ate everything put before me.
First Course: Wassail (a spiced hot apple cider)
Second Course: Crab Chutney with Crackers
Third Course: English Beef Barley Soup, Bread, Cheese
Fourth Course: Chicken with Rice, Green Beans, Glazed Carrots, and Bread
Fifth Course: Roast Pork, Spiced Apple Rings, Marinated Mushrooms (I drew the line here...no fungus for me), and Brown Bread
Sixth Course: Brittle Bread Pudding
Seventh Course: Fresh Fruit
My tummy is full now...going to sleep...
