My little man was a narrator in his class assembly today. He did really well and Icould hear him clearly even though I was right at the back. I don't have a zoom lens at the moment, so I took the chance to take some pictures at the end when the kids were letting off steam. What a handsome young fellow he is! :)

Photo Assignment #5, comments are appreciated!
-What makes a photograph into a portrait is the intention of the photographer to reveal something about the character of the person. You are trying to convey something about a person's nature in your images.
-A portrait is not just simply a picture of a person. A photograph of a person can be interesting in the way light falls on the different surfaces of their face or body, the various colors of their skin and clothes or the particular design of the tattoo on their body. These characteristics can make an impact on your image.
So Friday morning I stepped into my office to find my co-workers out of their typical attire (whatever the hell we want, and it's great!) and gussied up in dress shirts and ties. It was so surreal (and I was treated to a repeat performance at the wedding reception the following night).
