Soo last Sunday I had the honor to be one of the judges for the Mr SL 2021with the dresscode: Formal.
For me it was clear that I didn´t want to wear a normal suit but the only formal dress I could think of which was done a couple months ago didn´t fits my standards as well.
At the end I found myself working on a whole own outfit to bring up my own formal vibes and my personal touch as well. (Because you all know I can be a lil bit extra.)
This is it. for all you guys out there who are tired of wearing the same formal standards out there might find this idea helpful ^^

The Fourth Wall by Joanna Kitten, the July 2023 exhibition @ Nitroglobus main hall
Joanna Kitten is back @ Nitroglobus with 'the Fourth Wall', and this time in the main hall of the gallery.
I am truly happy with this new exhibition of Kitten, which has a totally different theme than 'NOIR' her October 2022 exhibition at the Annex. It's more daring and some images are even a little bit 'naughty'.
However, Kitten's signature: monochrome textures, with the emphasis on light and shadows is still clearly present in all her images.
I hope you enjoy the Fourth Wall as much as I do.

I am so happy Rose said yes when I invited her to return to Nitroglobus. Like in February 2020 she again shows us meaningful works, all full of emotion, which is her trademark. It's never difficult to detect a 'real Rose'

BEACH LIFE by Kelsey Sakura-Yuitza
August 2025 exhibition – Annex of Nitroglobus
I first discovered Kelsey’s work on Flickr in January this year. Her images immediately caught my eye, and I reached out to her to ask if she’d be interested in exhibiting at my gallery. It took some time to convince her, but in February she said YES — which, of course, made me very happy.
Over the following months, Kelsey and I stayed in touch. Communicating wasn’t always easy due to the time difference and her hectic work schedule, but in the end, everything came together.
I’m happy to present this exhibition/installation, a vivid reflection of Kelsey’s love for beach life AND moreover, Adwehe's skills of creating a scene with super cool fun stuff. Try digging a bigger hole in the sand, take a shower, kick the beach balls or just relax under a palm tree.
My thanks goes to Adwehe, who created the beach scene. Love it!

Description by the artist:
In the past, I would have simply said, "I surf and take pictures in SL."
But a few years ago, while modeling for a friend — an SL photographer — I found myself wondering, "How difficult could it actually be?"
So, I began with basic snapshots. I experimented with lighting and shadows using the Black Dragon viewer. I watched YouTube tutorials and taught myself how to edit in Photoshop, applying those skills to shots I felt truly deserved that extra touch.
I kept learning, kept exploring — and now, here we are: exhibiting in the Annex of Nitroglobus.

Our first and only cruise we made with Hurtigruten (the renowned packet ships) along the coast and through the fjords of Norway - a great experience in spite of all the rain that summer.
A wonderful way to recharge the batteries with nothing but enjoying the beautiful landscape, serenity - the journey was its own reward (no animation, no dress code, no shows or theater ... exactly my cup of tea)
This fridge magnet I brought home from this wonderful trip as a reminder to visit Norway again some day : )
