I'm slowly photographing slides of my old work, or the actual work when I have it. I'm struck by how I was obviously working on ideas that I am carrying out in photography, 15 years later. I hadn't seen it before.

These are original model drawings of Jeremy Crow from Don Bluth's Feature Film "The Secret of Nimh". The Animation paper measures 10.5" X 12.5".

well, I made this drawing almost 2 year's ago, and he is the first superhero that claimed a place in the Tuusu universe.

On February 14, 2010, the Chinese lunar calendar moved into the Year of the Tiger. Unfortunately, the plight of wild tigers doesn’t call for much celebration. Three subspecies have been driven to extinction in the past century alone and experts estimate there are as few as 3,200 tigers left in the wild.

The great deserts of Mars dominated the planet when I made this drawing. The gibbous phase of the planet has become obvious as it moves away from its opposition with Earth. It is more than an arcsecond smaller than when I made my last drawing, so it is becoming smaller in the telescope quickly. Details are labeled on the drawing.

From 1979, for about 15 years, I did illustrations for the record reviews for Audio Magazine. This one of Johnny Cash I specifically remember doing. I had telephoned my illustrator friend, Sally, and while we chatted I mindlessly drew. By the time we finished our conversation the drawing was done. I wish it worked like that all the time.
