Summer 2010

This was done from a live pose.

My father was very cooperative; he posed several times. I told him it was OK to read and to make himself comfortable. I had drawn portraits of him the previous summer which neither of us found satisfactory. Last summer when I visited in New York, he asked me to try again. He's 85 years old.
