I stayed in a pretty stylish hotel in Scottsdale last week for work. I couldn't wait to photograph the cool features and great colors. I love this bokeh shot of the drapes.

Some people say that hands are the first thing to show their age. True or not, I think hands are incredibly sensual. When I see Debbie's hands, I see the tools of a writer, a potter, a blogger, and a activist, and I am reminded how glad I am that she's my friend.

Another one of my favorite photos. Inside a church along the main plaza in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. It looks like they moved a number of their icons into one room and covered them, perhaps to protect them from construction activites. Which is better - color or black and white?
