Taken for the Active Assignment Weekly! group. This week's assignment: Hobbies and Pursuits!

Besides photography I am a fascinated martial arts student (Wing Tsun) and a fan of all sorts of technical humbo gumbo (in other words: a nerd).

OK, now how to put that in a photo? This is a shot of my room with chinese art and Wing Tsun graduation certificates (chinese martial arts, see?) and the before mentioned technical humbo gumbo. I would lie if I said I did not do some manipulation in this shot (really?) but this is what I dream of in terms of computer development: HUDs (heads up displays) affordable for the mortals and real "drag'ndrop" (I am thinking "Minortity Report" just without Scientology extremists).

For those curios why on earth I wear a gasmask without filter: The air quality was sufficient to skip a filter...

I look a bit like a guy in drag in this pic but I guess thats what I am

a gurl attempting drag

I was very surprised that my wee snap of myself dressed up as a woman in a short skirt, high heels, long wig with bare shaved legs proved to be popular! I never imagined anyone would even look at it as had posted to ease my desire to cross-dress but not having an opportunity. I find looking at my photos and posting on Flickr helps me through the long periods of no transvestite activities.

I thought I would risk posting another picture I took on the same day as I do recall really enjoying myself and loving being out in the winter air dressed up this way.

It is truly fabulous to impersonate females, I love the whole experience but then again I am a transvestite so I would say that.

Rocking the fishnets and stilettos

A rare sight these days, as Direct Rail Services Class 57/3, 57304 “Pride of Cheshire” performs its intended Thunderbird duties and drags failed Avanti West Coast "Pendolino" Class 390, 390117 through Hartford as 5Z62 16:18 Preston to Oxley Carriage Maintenance Depot.

The Pendolino had sat in Preston for just over 12 hours having failed earlier that morning. The 'Bodysnatcher' was eventually summoned to move the stricken EMU to Oxley depot for attention.

Another pic of the town of Dragor.

The yellow houses are the typical image of this small town at the south of Copenhague. With centuries of history this small village is a traditional get away from the danish capital and a posibility of experience the danish history.

Due to the DMU not being signed back into service for the Saturday service, 37263 was used to perform a 'DMU Drag' and is seen arriving at Kidderminster with the ECS from Bewdley ready to form the 11:00 service to Hampton Loade.

47816 drags 91004 and a Mk3 set on the 11:15 Kings Cross to Leeds at Hitchin, 21/5/1989. This train was being diverted via Cambridge on this occasion.

One of two entries I put up for this year's BTA, D&RGW Drag Flanger OC! Initially designed by Arthur Ridgeway, these cars were used on Colorado railroads well into the 1980s, with some still in service on scenic railroads today. Pulled along behind a locomotive, these cars would spread snow and "flange out" crossings/switches that were prone to icing up/causing derailments. This car, designated OC by the D&RGW 3' gauge network, survives as a display today at the Colorado Railroad Museum (though it is in a different paint scheme now).
