IMO's Interactive Workshop on General Principles of Drafting National Legislation to Implement IMO Conventions, at IMO HQ, London (18-22 September 2017).
This is how I test my patterns. The draft pieces are cut from scrap fabric and fitted for shape and contour, etc... I make my changes at this stage before moving onto the fur fabric. The fur adds a lot of bulk and volume to the hats. I might tweek it a bit once I get to the fur stage, but most of the time it works out well.
Just a hint, if you're going to work with fur you have to keep an eye on what direction the fur falls in. There's a "grain" to this fabric. It looks better if fur from different panels go in the same direction so when you sew it together it won't look messy.

Stamped old jeans leg. Though I learned from the sweater arm fiasco for draft snake #2, and cut my pieces perfectly to size before I did any sewing.
A group shot taken at the 1993 OSHL Draft. This was held at Bob's and the photo taken just outside the back door.
The photo was taken by Bob's tenant at the time - a professional photographer! After a lot of enhancement, I still couldn't get an equal exposure across the shot, nor could I get rid of the shadow of the telephone pole right across the group. This probably explains why the tenant eventually went bankrupt and owed Bob money!
