Na de doorkomst van RailAdventure met de volgende ICNG in Rheine, werd naar Ibbenbüren doorgereden om de Crafterzug naar Bad Bentheim op de foto te zetten. In de boog vlak voor Laggenbeck passeerde DR 243 179 met de zondagse Crafterzug. In Bad Bentheim zou de trein door RFO 1837 worden overgenomen.

In NRW is door de insolventie van Abellio op meerdere RE- und RB-Linien al meerdere weken Ersatzverkehr. Op de RB40 tussen Essen en Hagen was TRI onderweg met gehuurde 182ers van MRCE, terwijl op de RE11 tussen Essen en Kassel Wilhelmshöhe de Centralbahn gezamenlijk met TRI zowel met 111ers als 182ers werd gependeld. Het Ersatzverkehr op de RB40 en de RE11 kon al per 27 februari 2022 worden beëindigd, terwijl op de RB46, der Glückauf-Bahn, tussen Gelsenkirchen Hbf en Bochum Hbf, dat nog tot 13 maart 2022 zal worden voortgezet. In het begin werd met de onlangs gereviseerde WFL 112 024 en een Steuerwagen Bauart Wittenberg gependeld, gezien de zeer korte perronlengte op meerdere stations. Mijn interesse ging uit naar de 143er...zeker nu deze was vervangen door de DB 143 326, welke in een bijzondere outfit was gestoken om de verkoop van deze overtollige loks onder de aandacht te brengen.

It was a good evening - after a few weeks of rain we got to see the Sun in London, so I decided to go for a walk with a camera. And - oh boy - I didn't expect Dr Who's telephone booth is going to land right in front of me!

Swiss German for "along the 'Aare' river". In this case it's the old part of the river Aare near Aarberg. This is were initially the whole river was going through before it was rerouted through some of our greater lakes in the northwest of Switzerland. I'm really glad they still let a little water flow through here. Super peaceful!
