Gravity is a given. Its anchor is a constant force within constant spin. By changing our physical orientation in space, we may fundamentally upend, well, just about everything.
For Downside Up, Kristin Geneve Young will lead participants in challenging their senses of vision, equilibrium and proprioception. Balance tests, climbing exercises and aerial inversions will be used to focus the senses throughout the walk, inviting the group to respond to overlooked pockets of Midtown.
Co-facilitated by Susie Williams (9/27) and Lisa Natoli (10/4)

Fun day at the trails. First weekend of good weather,so trails were popping in New England. Here are some of the photos of that day.

My dearest mother,
I much appreciated your Tablet which had the article called the ‘Crown Prince’s Peril’. It is the last Tablet to hand up to date. Your letter of 4th August with enclosed F.C. of pages from Patrick also arrived safely.
As the little necklace was already stolen from my billet at ______ I decided to keep the tray and bring it with me, when I come on leave.
What tremendous news from France! The old Somme battlefield fought over once again. May the initiative never pass from us now!
Simultaneously with your letter came one most welcome from France from Patrick. I am relieved to hear he is on Corps HQ. I am again up from the plains with this awful heat and dust amid pine forests-what glorious country. One realises the enormous power of heavy shells in places like these-great pine trees torn up by the roots and flung about as if they were straws. The nights are cold even now, but the day’s most lovely.
Yesterday I had a talk with our new GOC-General Walker. He served under dear father in Egypt and knew you. He strikes one as a very fine and energetic soldier.
My address is the above till further notice. I can get at my men much better than with the ammunition column.
I may get home for some weeks in October. Leave is difficult from Italy, as there are so few transport facilities. The price of coal is so high that Italy can afford fewer trains than ever.
Love to Eileen.
Your devoted son, Dick.
Downside to transferring image from camera to phone and using the Lightroom app while standing trackside waiting for the next train. Didn’t see the blurry number board!

Does anyone know what the white banner above the shelter was for?
The station house is still lived in. Passengers have increase three fold since they put on additional trains here on Sundays for visitors to the nearby RSPB reserve. The station here and at Berney Arms are sponsored by the RSPB.

Downside: visually feeble when juxtaposed with "real life" graffiti.
Upside: I don't smell like Krylon. Not for normal reasons, anywhoo,
