I have recently been doing a lot of walking in Seoul, especially on cold winter nights.

Fuji NY (through Wal-Mart sendaway) did a crap job processing and printing these. Again. The prints that came back are WAY to contrasty. Alexa's skin is white as a ghost and the shadows are obliterated as usual from them dudes. They don't do a bad job developing, but DAAAAMN I wish they wouldn't force me to pay for the prints, too.

This is from my little Goodwill gem, the Oly 35RC that I picked up for $7.50 in perfect working order. Eventually I'll need to replace the seals, but the thing is in great condition. I like to use it for snappin' more than my Canons, but I wish it had a slightly larger lens. I'd also like to point out that most P&S cameras nowadays can't touch this borkeh!

12.30.21 Sculpt update - Dass Jennir and Falco Sang - Star Wars: Dark Times (Dark Horse Comics). 1:18 scale.

Hey guys! Finally received magnets needed for my forearm variants to Jennir. The character is featured in the comic with and without arm wraps, so I'll be creating variant sculpts for each. Having those minor variants will allow me to make the figure more versatile in its appearance. They are glued directly to the plastic frame and will be sculpted over. The magnets are strong enough to have a firm hold to one another but not enough to interfere with the opposite arm or waist magnet. The only downside with using magnets in the interaction with other figures using the same methodology. Forces seem to attract or repel one another when in close range LOL! Small price to pay...

Added some sculpt to the chest. More will be added I'm sure. I also want to reduce the lower abdomen again.

Also working on the maskless head sculpt to Falco Sang. Making some changes to an older cast I had that strikes a resemblance to the character. Reworking the upper body sculpt as well.

So goes another week of sculpting. Probably would have had more to share but it took forever to receive the magnets and I'm so afraid to get working on another project that may take my focus off what I'm wanting to achieve here...also with the holidays and COVID making an appearance in the family, a break was necessary.

More to come! Hoping to ramp things up a bit more in the coming weeks. Hard to believe that only a handful of weeks back this was nothing but an unstable, raggedy figure frame. It's fun to watch the transformation. Hope you enjoyed the update!

Sir Nikolaus Pevsner described the Abbey as "the most splendid demonstration of the renaissance of Roman Catholicism in England. If ever there was an excuse for building in period forms in the twentieth century, it is here".

FYI, This photo is resized which I don't usually do. It looks really blurry viewed in large but I promise it isn't. I accidentely messed up the saving on about 10 photos and lost the larger edited files.

Downside to working from home - it's pretty hard to "call in sick" to the office, and freelance deadlines never disappear. Always work to be done.

Bright side of working from home - At least I can do it in my pajamas. While sitting on the couch. On commercial breaks in between segments of the new Grey's Anatomy. And with a beer.

(I would work while stretched out in bed but I guarantee I'd fall asleep.)
