Lembro a primeira vez que ouvi a frase "vão-se os anéis, ficam os dedos". E das lembranças junto aos anéis com as iniciais de cada um dos meus avôs que já partiram, seus dedos e mãos aqui já não habitam, mas deles ficam os anéis.

I remember the first time I heard the sentence “the rings are gone, the fingers remain” (a Portuguese proverb). And from the memories alongside the rings with the initials of each one of my grandfathers who have already passed away, their fingers and hands here no longer live, but their rings remain.
