Pointillism dotwork piece I did at the Peterlee Tattoo Arts Festival convention recently on Leanne - together we discussed a Polynesian/Maori-inspired floral addition to her leg to tattoo live at the show, and it ended up with a very unique design that gathered a lot of attention on the day. Both artist and customer very pleased! :)

Banyan tree is a huge tree with very extensive branches. It is a evergreen tree. It branches spread out and send trunk like roots to the ground in order to support itself. It grows to a height of more than 21 meters and lives for many years. The leaves are 10 -20 cm long and has many aerial roots. The leaves are broad, oval and glossy. White milky fluid oozes out of leaves, if broken. It can grow in to the gaint tree covering several hectares.
Banyan tree is respected and is considered as sacred and immortal. It symbolize Trimurti with Vishnu as the barl, Shiva as the branches and Brahma as the roots. t is probably the biggest and friendliest of all trees. Banyan tree is the tree of knowledge and tree of life.
"F L Y"

“F L Y”
(Diptych: nankin ink, spray paint, graphite on paper / digital manipulation of lenticular printing - 3D display).
It is the continuation of studies on the possibilities of interlacing characters.
The diptych "FLY" is about a grouping of three letters forming the word FLY, which creates a kind of a new three-dimensional and hanging character. By projecting their shadows it is possible to observe again their characters individually. In lenticular printing, according to the position and according to the movement made by the viewer on the frame, it is caused a successive change of images which reproduces an optical animation.
Represented artwork on the artists collective “Delírio” (Delirium) – Joinville/Brazil/2015
