Polka Dots - Standing: Inspiration struck with Johanna's outfit choice, so in preparation of some upcoming studio work, set things up early to take a few shots. Godox V1 with teal gel and white umbrella for background, Godox AD200 front right in octogonal softbox, and AD200 above and behind with beauty dish for hair lighting.
Polish pottery at Baltic Trader, Lewes, East Sussex. This hand-decorated 'eye-spotted' stoneware has been produced in the lower Silesian town of Boleslawiec since the 1800s
Another shot from Sydney's Vivid festival which finished just under two weeks ago. I'm slowly working my way through the shots I took of the festival this year so slowly that by the time I'm done I'm sure Vivid 2014 will have rolled around.
It's a reasonably simple shot but I love the way the lines of individual dots in the foreground give way through depth of field to the solid patterns, which are accentuated by the curvature of the screen and the negative space.
It a photo where all the elements just seem to work together nicely.
I hope you enjoy.
Cheers, Chris

Facemold/Molde: Lea/Kayla
With this doll, the Lea Facemold returned without asian features and it was a nice chance. My doll has strange eyes, though. This girl has no glue issues.
Con esta muñeca, el molde Lea regresó sin rasgos asiáticos y es un buen cambio. Sin embargo, mi muñeca tiene los ojos raros. No tiene problemas de pegamento.
This week's theme for video chat with my lovely friend Faye was Polka Dots. This dress isn't really my usual style, but it was fun to wear for a change.

*** Assignment [Sweet Tooth]: Runner Up ***
This one was one of my favs, but I was told that the blurry dots were almost dizzying, so it became a runner up. I like it though - the dots on the cupcake and the dots on the background :)

This pic is my fav, I love his cold eyes.
The deception is in the perception; what is real, what is not. The division of the tangible from the reflection of unreality. What is real? What is not? Can we trust what we see?
Featuring the new Aqua clip brick that comes in LEGO DOTS 41904 Picture Holders. It can hold your recipe so you can read it for cooking.
It's attached by a hinge brick, so it folds down for closing the lid.

Out doing some shopping today and and came across this wall at Victoria Secret. This was was vertical and the dots at the top of the photo are the ceiling.
This was a Dots clothing store.
The Lincoln Park Shopping Center opened in 1957 as one of the Detroit Area's largest shopping centers. The Sears opened the previous year and was once the top grossing Sears store. In the 2000s the shopping center became mostly empty besides Dollar Tree, Sears, and a Big Boy Restaurant on an out-parcel. Plans for a Walmart to open at the shopping center fell through twice.

Card created for the "dots" challenge. I tried out Sally's crayon technique with the flowers & then added shading with PrismaColor colored pencils.
I also want to mention that the green polka-dottie paper is from Susan [stampstudio1(susan)]. Thanks, Susan...I have had fun with my paper!
