A small dory among the big boats on the waterfront in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

South Portland, Maine

A pic from several days ago. This is the first time I've ever used Photoshop for editing. Paint Shop Pro X was used for any previous uploads requiring editing...I've got a lot to learn as I haven't got clue how to use Photoshop.

A peaceful, traditional scene in Kennebunkport, Maine

where we love to visit in the fall.

Cox's Cove, Newfoundland Canada.

Taken a couple of weeks ago during a most restful stay at the White Point Resort along the South Shore near Liverpool.

The sun managed to break through the winter storm clouds briefly to produce some dramatic lighting that accentuated this yellow dory.

from a photo logistics perspective she always sets herself in the sunlight ...............if there is any sunlight!

These wonderful boats look so great as they locals in the area have chosen this colour for their Dories and sure take good care of them. Taken on the West coot of Newfoundland in Cox's Cove

A whaling dory still sits on the beach on Menguante Cove, Half Moon Island, Antarctica.

Pacific City, Oregon.

Dory sez:

"OK I has waked up now. Send them all in!

Whadaya mean there's no one to send in? I thot all of these famous stars would turn up and get interviewed by m'self - just like that Oprah Winfreycat does!! Oh well, we'll just have to see what transpires then. I've got no other diary appointments booked in for today,, so I'll just have to wait around and see what turns up Micawber style. YAWWWWNNNNNN!"

Three geese, two moons and one of my favorite shades of pink

All along route 450 there were fishing coves with orange dories. This seemed to be a west coast thing... There were lots of seagulls everywhere too, but not when i wanted them LOL so I added some. ;-)

Went to see Finding Dory with the kids at the weekend. They loved it, as did I.

Great job Angus!

Credit to Galaktek for the tentacle idea :)

A dory filled with nets is pulled up on shore at Lookout Point in Harspwell. The setting sun casts a golden glow on the boat and dramatic clouds fill the sky during a departing storm.

Well today I enter my 50th Decade on the Planet!! How did they happen hey!!!

Anyhoo as I said I am currently in Bristol for my 50th Birthday to meet LeAnn Rimes, but before that, because the weather was rubbish yesterday I decided to go to the Bristol Aquarium to avoid getting wet, which was OK until the lens on my camera conked out!! I lost the focus abilities, so how I managed to get any photos at all was a miracle..Oh well, I bought a new lens on the way back to my hotel, so I should be OK for today...I hope you all enjoy my Birthday with me..;)

Nothing can prepare you for moments like this, but you can at least try to be ready. An absolutely stunning sunset lit the sky above the Lighthouse Museum on Monhegan Island on our visit. I knew that I wanted to incorporate the iconic dory into my photo somehow, and using the boards as leading lines directly to a perfectly placed window and the old Keeper's House couldn't have been more effective. I love it here.
