Yesterday, there was a large (enough) spider in my car as I was driving home from Shelf Help. I had the window down, and I was trying to shoo it out and not have an accident. Finally, it went out the window, and I rolled it up. I never could tell whether the spider was inside or outside, but I fear it was both, and the window killed it. I never saw it again.
We have a lot of hoverflies. They're much sweeter than spiders, and they usually just stand there and pose. I admit I talk to them a little. They seem to like my voice.
Today, I learned that someone I like is leaving the company. I told her I'd miss her, and she said she was following me on LinkedIn because I always brought a smile to her face. I complimented another coworker, and he said the same thing—that I brought a smile to his face.
It's interesting to me how you can be Debbie Downer to some and Sally Sunshine to others. What's less interesting is the people who know me well lean toward the former, while the people who only know me through emails—well, they're divided. :-D
I started working on the base of the fountain tonight. It seems to go relatively quickly, but I don't know if I like it yet.

They could not keep up with the long cue of people. They were just rolling out these dumplings non stop for hours.
