Born to be Wild.

Doom is a special game for me. Forbidden by pacifistic parents, played in the dark when nobody looks. It is dark, dirty, scary, bloody and downright disturbing at some places.

And it has Cacodemons. Scary hissing death servants of doom. The very first thing in gaming which terrified me so much I immediately turned off the PC... good times, good times ;)

Probably my last group of these guys for a while. Probably. We'll see.

Mostly just wanted to show off the updated Cliff and Rita. I may be the first person on here whose Rita and Larry have a matching uniform.

Also Beast Boy is a character I have built again, after being un-built for a very long time.

Everybody else is the same.

Cheers, all.

A shot for The Saturday Self Challenge . Finding a shot for the challenge can sometimes be a challenge in itself AND like waiting for a bus ! Spent most of the week looking for a shot failing miserably - then have two ! Firstly I was going to use the shot of the " Tree of Life " hand crafted by someone in the family and not me , the wirework makes up the trunk and branches and hanging off of the branches are Swarovski crystals and tigers eye gem stones . Finally got the shot ( not easy to light but a good learning curve ) , then go off to the dump and remember this tree of doom nearby . Should have been an easy challenge , Surrey is supposed to be one of the counties with the most trees and some famous ones for their age !

And finally some music for Sight and Sound

Two of the first batch of five BR 'EM1' (later Class 76) locomotives to be withdrawn from service, 26035 and 26042 awaiting their ultimate fate at Reddish depot on 10th April 1971. Both officially taken out of service in March 1970, and believed to have been cut up on site in October 1971 by Cashmores, 26035 was assured of receiving attention from my camera's lens, for just a few months previously I had purchased one of its four builder's plates (Gorton 1042 built in 1952) from BR Collector's Corner at Euston for the princely sum of £5, and I still own it to this day. Another class member (26018/76018) was to receive the TOPS number allocation 76035, which this example would have done had it survived on the active list through the 1970s. In the line alongside is E26056, formerly named 'Triton', and withdrawn from service seven years later and the body 'grounded at the depot, and to the right, close to the depot's main road entrance gate, is blue-liveried E26030. 26035 and 26042 had been stored at Reddish since August 1968, following damage to their high tension compartments.

I'm reposting some of my builds from the Decisive Action 4 Game to my main account. These are two of my favorites - the BFG9000 and the Painsaw from the old DOOM FPS game.

Finally!

This was a long one. Begun in March, then had hit a hiatus due to some difficulties, then redone from original sand green colour scheme, then redone to get better proportions... few times.

This obviously is my rendition of the Doom Slayer character, influenced greatly on representation from Doom Eternal - altough there are some, hm, creative approaches to some areas.

This is one of models which has instructions available and so they are available at www.brickvault.toys/products/doom-slayer

The ride in the sky at Liverpool 1. That thing is frigging HIGH! Not to mention cold!

Doom's Demise. I'm heartbroken. One last party Saturday night 7-9pm SLT. See you in Hell. :(

Faceup by Esthy :)

I have sadly had to work way too much and shoot photography way to little over the past several weeks. And i apologize for being behind on commenting on everyone's amazing streams.

I got a chance last Saturday to break away and stay the night at the beach. As Sunset approached the clouds looked iffy and I couldn't decide to head south or north from the Depoe Bay area in hopes of some great light. I chose the longer drive up to Ocean Side. As I approached it was obvious the clouds were here to stay and i unfortunately mis-read the tide, which was a bit higher then I needed to get into the area I wanted and to the composition that I was after. I am really undecided on this image, but it was still a fun night getting soaked in the cold tide, so I figured I would post it anyway!

Happy Friday to everyone!!

On a grey day, D6555 waits to leave Midhurst goods yard with the train to Pulborough which by 1964, was operating only three times a week. Easy to see why the line closed shortly after. I expect the crew enjoyed their day out, trundling along the Rother Valley on this picturesque line.

The track on the extreme left of the photo is the line to Petersfield, passing over the Bepton Road bridge and through the LSWR station with its small goods yard, disused by this time.
