It was whilst I was in a meeting last week that I doodled this face on to an old flyer from a magazine.
Today I sat down and machine stitched this on to a piece of old blanket and applied it to a card.
It's so satisfying when you can make a card out of things you would normally throw away

Imagining a typical 19th century grid block city with heavy development pressure that has evolved from just two planning rules.
Rule 1. All buildings must receive direct sun light to all habitable spaces.
Rule 2. The habitable spaces of all buildings must be naturally ventilated.
The consequence of these two rules has resulted in dense medium rise city blocks with narrow floor plates orientated to the sun.
doodling during the debates.. no real reason for the existence of this, just wanted to play with the Letterpress letter set.
Found a sketch I did out of sheer boredom years ago at one of mum's art shows. On reflection , I shouldnt have given it up, but thats what depression does to you I guess. I used to tear these up and throw them away all the time. Can't believe I did it from memory, wish my brain still worked like that everyday, and not just on the good days.
Done roughly in aquarelle pencil if memory serves.
All artists out there remember one thing. Mozart was one told his music contained "too many notes" lol.
