"Jonathan Seagull discovered that boredom and fear and anger are the reasons that a gull’s life is so short, and with these gone from his thoughts, he lived a long fine life indeed."
So then it follows that heeding the words of Mr Bobby McFerrin leads to a longer life.
Interesting.
Who would've thunk it?
Bobby McFerrin, Philosopher.
Sorry!
It's really late. Gotta go to bed.
Hope you all had a good weekend
This man was quite happy with his new technological marvel. It is the first mass produced totally electric dirt bike. No transmission, no clutch, no gas tank, no exhaust pipe. All battery power. Just turn the throttle and go. He is not worried about the downsides of the bike such as battery heat and weight. He says it is a joy to ride and looks forward to continuing to race it.

Rainy day, empty park. A little girl alone on the swing.. I had to do something about it... and yes.. Mini mouse became the sultan of the empty swings for this capture.
Today was such a beautiful day. I have the most awesome job in the world-making a living doing what I love. Had a break & saw this field of dandelions, pulled out the ipod, a "prop" from my fridge & enjoyed the sunshine & a little vino with my friend Sue & our cameras.
Also got to see some old friends earlier and talk to a couple of my favorite people at the end of my day. Life can't get much better than this =-) I'm a lucky girl!!!!!
My screen name is iBSSR who loves comments on his images. Pay strict attention to what I say because I choose my words carefully and never repeat myself. I have told you my screen name, and that's the who. The where can most readily be described as BSSR House. The what is easy. Recently, I planned and set in motion events to decompose my iPad 2. That's also the when. As for the why, it's exceedingly simple. Because I can. Which leaves us only with the how. And therein, as the Bard would tell us, lies the rub. To be continued...
DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY!
The tree frogs like to hang out at my swimming pool every year. This one looks like he's smiling and posing for the camera. He make me smile every time I look at this photo!
Bug-a-Palüza is the Southeast's premier Volkswagen festival! Held at Camp Jordan Park in East Ridge, TN. Begun in 1999, Bug-a-Palüza has grown from a handful of enthusiasts spending a Sunday afternoon in the dealership parking lot to one of the largest annual VW events in the region.

We rarely visit Lee Beach Bar for lunch, tending to favour Sea View Taverna or Flyers Bar, but we thought we'd give it a whirl because we'd been trying to visit other places than our usual ones. As you can see, the view is stunning, and the menu offers a good choice. This large painted rock lies near the entrance... the 'DON'T' needs a touch up now!

To my dear friend SolarScot...

FABULOUS
my daughter has to wear a uniform (school t-shirt) EVERY day...this is how she chose to express her creativity today! i love parker.
Sooooo.....
I was over at my daughter's house and saw this cute little guy sitting on top of a tv in her kitchen and she told me her husband had brought it home to her and it is one of those smooshie things that fits just right in your hand and you are supposed to smoosh it around and it is supposed to help reduce stress and I probably ought to skip right over the part about how she told me she took it and ripped its poor little head right off and threw it across the kitchen floor and then she felt really really bad and she glued it back on with super glue and when she told me that we both started laughing so hard we almost wet ourselves and then I saw these artificial flowers sticking up out of a box of stuff that she had bought at a yardsale and-and-and... pshew!!!... and, well, you just had to know there was no way I was going to pass up an opportunity like that, didn't you???
Photo taken on the dining room buffet at my eldest (your mom loves you so much) daughter's house.
Laughter truly is the best medicine. If this has in any way caused you to smile, then my work here is done :))
A Smile is the Same in Every Language [189/365] - If like me, you've traveled to a few foreign countries, I'm sure you've also come to the realization that not everybody speaks the same language, and sometimes speaking is out of the question. It's amazing how much you can say with a smile! It's a great ice breaker when it comes to communication barriers.
I have a hard time not smiling. In my opinion, there is rarely a legitimate reason to frown. When my friend Ron was first getting into photography, we'd go for photoshoots with friends. For a few photos he'd tell us not to smile... and while everybody else had a perfect serious expression, I always had a huge grin. Life is good, I'm happy, and I refuse to stop smiling. Take that, pessimists!
