I have a vested interest in the torture "debate." I have no idea why it is being debated at all. Its wrong. There is no justification. Ever.
It doesnt give reliable intelligence. Period. I would never trust anything that came from someone under duress. They will say anything to make the bad man stop.
It is against everything we as a nation stand for an an affront to military professionals who have defended this nation for the last 233 years. We used to own the moral high ground. Now the actions of a few have place me down in the stinking muck where Russia, Vietnam, North Korea and Syria reside. It makes me sick.
