Somewhere along the line the phrase "sleep like a baby" came to mean that one had gotten a great nights sleep. When you were a guest at someone's house they would inevitably ask you in the morning "How did you sleep?" "Oh great, I slept like a baby," is the ready made answer. This does not make a bit of sense. Truly "sleeping like a baby" means that you wake up every three hours crying because you are hungry and you have pooped in your diaper. I hope I never "sleep like a baby" again.

First of all: If your laughing at this picture your are a heartless, soulless, hateful, indifferent, compassionless, cruel, unfeeling, callous, hard hearted, unsympathetic, unkind, dismissive bastard.
May you rot in the eternal flames of Hades, and may it be both hot and humid.
Secondly: It is kinda funny, aint it? ( LMAO )
Last but not least: This picture isn't a put on... I didn't make this sign, it not a joke. I was on my way back to my humble abode when again, out the out the corner of my eye a saw something that I had to capture. I made a Michigan left, parked, zig-zagged in-between traffic to get to the median and grabbed these images.
Often when I review this picture I think of the back-story here. Irwin's owner clearly, deeply, loves his pet, the surgery, the pills, had to cost a pretty penny to keep Irwin alive. Clearly the owner is one those "no cost is too great for my baby" people, commendable but a little scary. Now let's "flip the script." If you ask me I think the damn thing ran off to find a quiet, peaceful place to die (no really). Imagine what it was like living with this owner the constant hovering, the unending pain, all the baby talk, at some point I would want "do myself" too.
I can't tell you how this story ended but I hoped things worked out to the dogs benefit.

ripe bastards people can be. It's been sometime since I took this shot,
still, I'm afraid some asshole may call and torment these poor people further.

Ora ho 4 anni di tempo per tirarmela di fronte al mondo!!
E comincio così. In ritardo.
Perché è vero, i tedeschi hanno ragione, siamo dei PARASSITI. E hanno ragione anche i cugini francesi, siamo MAFIOSI!!
Siamo Italiani, nel bene e nel male.
Però, quanto meno:
- non abbiamo nomi da froci come TIERRI', FRANSUA', ANTUAN.
- non abbiamo impronunciabili nomi da nazista come LOTAR, GUNDAM,
CRASFGRANDAR.
- non abbiamo baffi biondi da tamarro.
- non portiamo il pane sotto le ascelle mentre camminiamo perchè non è
igienico.
- non mettiamo i sandali con le calze perchè fanno cagare.
- la nostra cucina non sarà NUVELL, ma almeno le porzioni sono umane,
e non da canarini.
- anche noi abbiamo buon vino e buona birra, ma non scassiamo le
palle al mondo sostenendo che siano i migliori.
- non abbiamo i coprivolante delle macchine in peluche.
- saremo anche PARASSITI,ma ogni estate non occupiamo la toscana o la
riviera romagnola pretendendo di trovare Wurstel e Crauti in spiaggia
o i cartelli stradali bilingue
- le nostre donne (nella maggior parte dei casi)non hanno acconciature
tardo-anniottanta o ossigenature paura da pornodive, e da noi la
permanente è oramai fuorilegge, così come gli slip ascellari.
- i nostri giocatori sputano, è vero, sfottono, è vero, giocano duro,
è vero. Però non tirano testate, e se lo fanno a nessuno viene in mente
di premiarli come migliori giocatori di un torneo.
- se uno dei nostri giocatori prende 5 giornate di squalifica per una
gomitata, non gridiamo allo scandalo, anche se la televisione che lo ha ripreso non è ufficiale. Al limite uno tira un imprecazione, ed è finita lì.
- non ce la tiriamo con tutto il mondo per una cazzo di torre di ferraglia
rugginosa.
- quando un italiano va in un altro paese, tempo sei mesi e impara la
lingua. Quando un tedesco viene in Italia, e mangia in italia, e guida una Ferrari (macchina italiana) per sei anni, impara solo l'inglese!!
- Platini, LE RUA', era sì francese, ma giocava in italia. Zidane, l'IMPERATUR, è si francese, ma è esploso in Italia. Thierry ha giocato in Italia, Vieira pure. La domanda è: c'è qualche cazzo di francese che ècapace di imparare a giocare a calcio senza venire in Italia?
- Quando noi perdiamo ai rigori si chiama SFIGA. Quando vinciamo si
chiama VENDETTA. E' ha un sapore buonissimo.
- Saremo anche un paese diviso, ma non eravamo noi ad avere un muro,
e non abbiamo magrebini, algerini e tunisini finti-francesi che ad ogni
occasione sfasciano vetrine e incendiano città.
- la pizza è nostra. E'buonissima e ce la invidia tutto il mondo.
- L'OMELETTE è solo una cazzo di frittata.
- vuoi mettere un wurstel con una soppressata calabrese!?!
Potrei andare avanti all'infinito.
Le differenze socio-culturali sono moltissime.
Anzi, direi che come giochino potremmo inventarne sempre di nuove
aggiungendole alla lista.
Ma per adesso va bene così. E' solo l'inizio.
Abbiamo altri 4 anni per fare quello in cui noi italiani siamo davvero e
senza ombra di dubbio gli indiscussi Campioni del Mondo:

Yes, another True Blood inspired shot. didn't turn out quite how I pictured, but it's good enough. I wanted the bloody tear a little bit longer, but those ones were blurry. So oh well. I love the color of my eye! I love it when they are extra blue. They turn from blue to green sometimes.
The house is really quiet without Leilani here. I woke up this morning wishing I could here her laughing at the cartoons in the living room. *sigh* I miss my baby already, but I have a feeling these next couple months with fly past. It's been a really fast year so far. lol
